Where Travel Becomes Story
Paris & the Palace of Versailles
Every kind of curiosity finds its answer in Paris, from the glass pyramid of the Louvre to the gilded halls of Versailles. Six days give your group the French capital at a considered pace — skip-the-line masterpieces, the summit of the Eiffel Tower, a full day at the Sun King's palace — cultural depth that works as well for students as for discerning private groups.
Day by Day
Day 1
Arrival in Paris
Your group arrives at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, where your BRACAP Tour Manager is waiting at arrivals. A private air-conditioned coach brings everyone to your centrally located 4★ hotel, and the afternoon is free to settle in — a first stroll through the Tuileries or along the banks of the Seine. In the evening, a relaxed orientation walk sets the scene for the days ahead.
Day 2
The Louvre & Royal Paris
The morning opens with a skip-the-line guided tour of the Louvre — the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, decoded by a licensed guide who brings each gallery to life. After lunch near the Palais-Royal, the afternoon explores the surrounding quarter on foot: the Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde and the elegant arcades of Rue de Rivoli.
Day 3
Eiffel Tower & the Seine
Paris from above and from the water. The morning ascent takes your group to the summit of the Eiffel Tower — 276 metres up, with views reaching 60 km on a clear day. After lunch near the Champ de Mars, an afternoon Seine river cruise glides past Notre-Dame, the Musée d'Orsay and the gilded Pont Alexandre III, the city's landmarks lining both banks.
Day 4
Versailles — The Sun King's Palace
A full day at the Palace of Versailles. The morning's guided visit moves through the State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, where 357 mirrors once dazzled the court of Louis XIV. Lunch in the town of Versailles, then the afternoon belongs to the gardens — geometric parterres, fountains and the great perspective of the Grand Canal — before the coach rolls back into Paris for the evening.
Day 5
Montmartre & the Latin Quarter
The morning climbs to Montmartre for a guided walk through the artists' quarter — Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre and the winding lanes once painted by Picasso and Renoir. After lunch on the Left Bank, a walking tour of the Latin Quarter passes the Sorbonne and the Panthéon, and the late afternoon is free for browsing bookshops, cafés and last discoveries at your group's own pace.
Day 6
Farewell Paris & Departure
After a leisurely final breakfast there is time for a last café crème or souvenir hunting near the hotel before your BRACAP Tour Manager coordinates all transfers to the airport. The team assists with check-in and luggage, leaving your group with nothing but six full days of Paris — its art, its palaces and its riverbanks — to carry home.
