    Spain for Two

    Duration10 Days
    CountrySpain

Your clients begin married life among the icons of Barcelona — Gaudí's modernist façades by day, a candlelit concert high above the city by night. This 10-day escape pairs the Catalan capital with a vineyard retreat in the Penedès and three final days in Madrid, linked by high-speed rail and private door-to-door transfers throughout.

    Day by Day

    1

    Day 1

    Barcelona Arrival & First Evening

A warm welcome awaits at Barcelona airport, where our team greets your clients for the private transfer to their hotel. The rest of the day stays free to rest or take a first stroll through the city's lively avenues, easing into Mediterranean time as the terraces fill and the evening light softens. Overnight in Barcelona.

    2

    Day 2

Ramblas, Beaches & the Gothic Quarter

A free day to take the vibrant Catalan capital at their own pace: the tree-lined Ramblas, the Mediterranean beaches, or a slow vermouth in a sunlit square. An optional walking tour explores the Gothic Quarter and El Born, tracing Roman Barcino and the medieval guild lanes behind the cathedral. Overnight in Barcelona.

    3

    Day 3

    The Legacy of Gaudí

Today belongs to the genius of Antoni Gaudí. Passeig de Gràcia, the most elegant avenue in Barcelona, parades the dreamlike façades of Catalan modernism, made for an unhurried morning of window-shopping and photographs. An optional fast-track visit opens the Sagrada Família, with access to one of its towers for panoramic views over the city.

    4

    Day 4

    Sunset & Candlelight on Tibidabo

A relaxed morning for final purchases in the Catalan capital. As dusk falls, a private chauffeur climbs to the summit of Tibidabo, Barcelona's natural balcony, for the evening's centrepiece: a concert by candlelight inside the neo-Gothic church of the Sagrado Corazón, thousands of flames lighting the nave. A private transfer returns them to the hotel.

    5

    Day 5

    Into the Penedès Vineyards

After check-out, a door-to-door private transfer leaves the city behind for the golden hills of the Penedès wine country. Home for the night is an exclusive rural estate surrounded by vineyards, with the afternoon free to unwind among panoramic views and country silence. An optional winery visit ends in a guided cava tasting. Overnight in the Penedès.

    6

    Day 6

    High-Speed Rail to Madrid

A private transfer runs from the vineyards to Sants station in Barcelona for the high-speed train to Madrid, crossing the peninsula in under three hours. On arrival, our team handles the private transfer to the hotel. The first evening in the Spanish capital belongs to the Puerta del Sol and the bright energy of its streets. Overnight in Madrid.

    7

    Day 7

    Madrid, Market to Plaza

A free day to live Madrid like locals. The Mercado de San Miguel makes a natural first stop, a wrought-iron temple of Spanish gastronomy steps from the Plaza Mayor. An optional walking tour covers Habsburg Madrid: the Plaza de la Villa, the arcaded Plaza Mayor and the exterior of the Royal Palace. Overnight in Madrid.

    8

    Day 8

    Retiro Park & the Prado

A day for the city's gentler pleasures: rowing boats and marble colonnades in the Retiro Park, then the Museo del Prado at the heart of the Art Triangle, where Velázquez and Goya wait in room after room. An optional full-day excursion travels instead to Segovia, its Roman aqueduct and its fairy-tale Alcázar. Overnight in Madrid.

    9

    Day 9

    Last Lights of the Capital

The last full day in Spain moves without hurry: final purchases along the elegant shopping avenues, a long lunch, a terrace with a view of the passing city. An optional full-day excursion reaches Toledo, the City of Three Cultures, where Jewish, Muslim and Christian heritage share the same medieval walls. Overnight in Madrid.

    10

    Day 10

    Farewell from Madrid

A final Spanish breakfast and a last unhurried walk close the journey. At the agreed hour, a private transfer runs to Madrid-Barajas airport, ending ten days that carried your clients from Gaudí's Barcelona through the vineyards of the Penedès to the heart of the Spanish capital — the first journey of a married life, with more to come.
