    Heart of Europe

    Duration8 Days
    CountryFrance, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg

Paris opens and closes this eight-day arc through five countries — Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg in between — with the canals of Amsterdam and Frankfurt's skyline linked by private coach. Panoramic guiding in the capitals leaves free afternoons for museums, markets and the group's own pace.

    Day by Day

    1

    Day 1

    Paris Arrival & First Evening

A private transfer meets the group on arrival and runs into the centre of Paris for check-in. The rest of the day stays open: elegant avenues to walk, a first French coffee on a terrace, the slow shift into European time. As the light goes, the City of Light lives up to its name along the river. Overnight in Paris.

    2

    Day 2

    Paris Panoramic & Montmartre

The morning is a panoramic run through the city's icons, from the Eiffel Tower on the Champ de Mars to the Arc de Triomphe at the head of the Champs-Élysées, with a local guide reading the city as it passes. The afternoon is the group's own: the bohemian slopes of Montmartre, the galleries of the Louvre, or a slow café hour. Overnight in Paris.

    3

    Day 3

    Paris, Bruges & Brussels

The coach heads north out of France and into Flanders, where Bruges waits like a fairy tale: medieval gables, quiet canals and cobbled lanes made for walking. In the afternoon the road continues to Brussels and the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, framed by guild houses and gold leaf. Belgian chocolate closes a day of contrasts. Overnight in Brussels.

    4

    Day 4

    Brussels, Rotterdam & Amsterdam

Morning takes the group into the Netherlands and Rotterdam, a port city rebuilt as a laboratory of contemporary architecture, all cantilevers, cubes and glass. By afternoon the road reaches Amsterdam, the vibrant Venice of the North, where canals and bridges set an unforgettable stage. The city lights up at dusk with colour and movement, a welcome in its own right. Overnight in Amsterdam.

    5

    Day 5

    Amsterdam Canals & Dam Square

The morning belongs to the Dutch capital with a local guide, from historic Dam Square at the heart of the old city to the colour of the Flower Market along the Singel. The afternoon is free: a canal cruise through the seventeenth-century belt, the museum quarter, or simply the squares and bicycles. Amsterdam gives the group a sense of calm and beauty at every step. Overnight in Amsterdam.

    6

    Day 6

    Amsterdam, Cologne & Frankfurt

The route crosses into Germany for Cologne, where the twin spires of the Gothic cathedral rise straight from the riverbank and hold the group still for a while. The day ends in Frankfurt, a city where a high-rise skyline stands alongside the timbered charm of the old town. The taverns of that old town, with their traditional German cooking, make a fitting close to a day of crossings. Overnight in Frankfurt.

    7

    Day 7

    Frankfurt, Luxembourg & Paris

Westward now to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, a fortress city set above deep green valleys, its bastions and casemate walls looking out over the Alzette. After time in the historic centre, the coach turns toward Paris for the last night on the continent, an evening made for raising a glass to shared roads and everything the journey has held. Overnight in Paris.

    8

    Day 8

    Farewell to Paris

A final European breakfast, and then a private transfer carries the group out of the city, closing a route that ran from the Seine to the canals of the north and back again. Five countries, four bases and a continent's worth of squares, cathedrals and skylines travel home with the group, along with a standing invitation to return.
